What is the DRS Wheel Block？

The DRS wheel block series serves as a versatile heavy-duty travel wheel system, engineered for demanding material handling operations. With models supporting single-wheel load capacities from 2.75 to 40 tons, it offers adaptable solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.

Product Features: Robust & High-Capacity

Housing of the DRS wheel block system is made of spherical graphite cast iron, painted gray. Travel wheel made of GGG 70, with a high-quality roller bearing. The five connection surfaces are machined and provide for a multitude of connection variants. 4 screws for inverted mounting are supplied. The housing is painted gray (RAL 7001)  and can be repainted. Traveling wheel block system with PU (Polyurethane) wheel, for higher traction at low operating noise.

A very robust, universal, maintenance-free travel wheel system available in 8 sizes. It is designed for various travel applications with wheel loads from 2.75t  to 40t and travel speeds up to 240 m/min (depending on version and load). 

Performance Range: Durable in Extreme Conditions

It can even be used at extreme ambient temperatures from -20 °C to +60 °C. Engineers who want to develop their drive systems can also achieve fast and reliable solutions using the versatile modular construction system.
