Wheel Type

Engineered to adapt to various rail conditions, environments, and noise requirements, the DRS 200 offers eight targeted wheel variants:

1. Double Flange Wheel: Features dual flanges for maximum lateral stability and track guidance—ideal for heavy-duty rails requiring precise alignment.

2. Single Flange Wheel: Balances stability and flexibility, reducing friction between the flange and the track.

3. Flangeless Wheel (No Flange ): Delivers ultra-low noise operation and minimizes rail wear. Can be equipped with an optional independent guide wheel for lateral tracking.

Material Options

1. Polyurethane Wheel: Combines toughness and elasticity. High wear, oil, and corrosion resistance make it ideal for indoor/outdoor environments with chemical or oil exposure.

2. Polyamide Wheel: Lightweight with high mechanical strength and chemical stability. Excellent resistance to wear and impact; the top choice for corrosive environments.

Driven vs. Non-Driven Options

1. Driven Wheels: Equipped with standard splines (involute, rectangular, etc.) or fully customized to match your specific motor, ensuring tight engagement and smooth acceleration/deceleration.

2. Non-Driven Wheels (Idler): Available in solid structures (for maximum load and impact resistance) or hollow structures (to optimize weight, lower energy consumption, and simplify maintenance).

Four Connection Methods

Designed to accommodate various installation spaces, structural layouts, and force distributions:

1. Top Connection: Compact and space-saving. Ideal for limited lateral space and allows easy top-down maintenance.

2. Side Connection: Offers flexible positioning, making it perfect for narrow or irregular structural spaces.

3. Pin Connection: Uses high-strength pins for excellent shear resistance. Perfect for applications requiring frequent disassembly or quick replacement.

4. End Connection: Simultaneously bears axial and radial loads. Ideal for end carriages of long-span or ultra-heavy equipment.

Typical Application Scenarios

1. Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS) Stackers: Ensures fast, stable, and high-frequency movement in automated warehouses.

2. Cranes: Ideal for traveling mechanisms (end carriages and trolleys) of overhead bridge cranes and gantry cranes.

3. Rail Transfer Carts: Serves as the core travel unit for material transport across factories, assembly lines, and ports.
